SYNOPSIS
THE IDES OF MARCH is a stark, terrifying, and dramatic psychological-thriller that sketches a horrific incident of one our culture's most prominent taboos the fact of female violence.

For more than eight months, police say Claudia Gonzalez, 32, told family, friends, co-workers and neighbors that she was pregnant. "This is an extremely bizarre case," say police. "Gonzalez had a complete nursery with all the furniture. She had baby clothes, diapers, formula — everything that a parent expecting a newborn should have." Everyone around Gonzalez was excited for her, but the joy turned to shock and dismay when they discovered that Gonzalez was never pregnant and that "her" newborn baby was actually cut from the womb of a slain Montreal woman.
